Selena Gomez is working on new 'happy' music

Get ready for new music from Selena Gomez...
Selena Gomez' fans will be delighted to know that the star is working on new music.
In an interview with Variety, the 30-year-old revealed that she will be dropping new music.
This time around, she says she will be working on 'happy music' that is sure to make her fans feel good.
"I am so happy, and you're going to be so happy when you hear the music, I promise," she told Variety.
"I want everyone to feel good when they hear the new record," she added.

Not only will the music make people feel good, but she says it will also be empowering.
"I jus want it to be powerful and empowering but really happy," she said.
In a separate interview on 'The Tonight Show' on NBC, the singer spoke about how writing happy songs moved her out of her comfort zone.
"I'm just so used to writing sad girl songs because I'm good at that, but I'm ready to have some fun,' Selena said. 'And I think people are going to like it," she said.
The also spoke about her Apple TV+ documentary, 'Selena Gomez: My Mind & Me', which focuses on her mental struggles, including having to live with bipolar disorder.
"We kind of went through all the different phases of my life from getting diagnosed and doing all the things that I had to go through,' Selena told 'The Tonight Show'.
However, she said it is difficult for her to watch the film.
"Not going to lie, I can't watch it. To be honest, I was scared to release it, but knew that being honest and being completely transparent was what I wanted to be known for. I don't want to be an unattainable thing. I want people to know that it's not just you and that they're not alone."
