Updated | By Tamlyn Canham
Match made in hell! Taylor Swift debuted the re-recorded version of her hit single, 'Love Story', in Ryan Reynold's new advert about Satan finding love on a dating site in 2020.
It's not every day that you get to work on a big project with one of your besties.
Taylor Swift and Ryan Reynolds have teamed up to create a fun ad for dating site, Match.
The stars have been close friends for years. The 'Blank Space' hitmaker even has a song on her latest album, 'Folklore', with characters dedicated to his children.

Ryan plays a devil looking for love in the advert. Taylor's contribution is a sneak-peek of the re-recorded version of her hit single, 'Love Story'.
The Grammy Award-winning singer recently started re-recording songs from her first six albums in an effort to own all her old music.
Music manager Scooter Braun bought the master rights to the songs in 2019. Taylor cried foul saying she had been trying to gain ownership of her music without any luck.
She has since been given the green light to re-record some of her biggest hits. Scooter, meanwhile, recently sold the master rights to an investment fund for around $300-million.

Ryan's company, Maximum Effort, produced the new Match ad, which explains how they got to be the first to play Taylor's re-recorded version of 'Love Story'.
Taylor's eagle-eyed fans noticed an interesting "egg" in the ad that seemingly takes a jab at Scooter Braun.
In one scene from the advert, Satan (Ryan Reynolds) and his new partner (named 2020) take a selfie near a dumpster. A scooter can be seen on the floor next to the dumper!
Taylor told her fans she was happy to give Ryan and his team access to her song.
"Okay so while my new re-records are NOT done, my friend @VancityReynolds asked me if he could use a snippet of one for a LOLsome commercial he wrote so...here’s a sneak peak [sic] of Love Story!" she wrote on Twitter.
