WATCH: Netflix shares first look at Prince Harry and Meghan docuseries
Updated | By Tamlyn Canham
The Duke and Duchess are sharing a personal look at their love story and the obstacles they faced in Netflix's new docuseries.
Netflix dropped a teaser trailer for its new docuseries about Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex.
The docuseries will be released on the streaming platform next week. The trailer features never before seen pictures of the royals.
The images were taken over the years and include personal moments such as Harry playing the guitar for Meghan. The trailer opens with a question: "Why did you want to make this documentary?"
"No one sees what's happening behind closed doors... I had to do everything I could to protect my family," Harry says in the clips.
Meghan later added: "When the stakes are this high, does it make more sense to hear our story from us?"

The docuseries is called 'Harry & Meghan'. It will feature six episodes and include commentary from some of the couple's friends and family.
There's no word on whether Harry's brother, Prince William, and his wife Catherine will make an appearance. The Prince and Princess of Wales, who are currently in the US for a three-day tour, did feature by way of photographs.
Harry and Meghan's children, Archie and Lilibet, did not feature in the trailer, but fans are hoping they make a surprise appearance when the docuseries drops.

If the docuseries is anything like their interview with Oprah, fans can expect a few bombshells. But while the trailer hints that Meghan and Harry will tell a few uncomfortable truths, the docuseries seems more like a celebration of their love and how they've overcome intense media scrutiny over the years.
The couple's fans can't wait for the docuseries to be released.
"After everything these two have been through together the past 6 years I love the fact that they're able to tell their own story," one Twitter user wrote.
Another tweep added: "I absolutely fell to the floor. I’m dead and buried y’all. I can’t! I love this so much. I’m going to watch this eleventy billion times."
They’re clearly in Love. I reckon Harry wanted out of RF the moment his mother was assassinated. I’m happy for them both. ❤️
