Watch: Ciara's advice for pregnant women during Covid-19

Singer Ciara is expecting her second child with husband Russell Wilson - and this time around the couple are forced to do things differently. 

The deadly coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak has resulted in hospitals and healthcare facilities "banning" pregnant women's partners from doctor's appointments and the delivery room. 

Ciara stopped by 'Good Morning America' to talk about her pregnancy and how the pandemic has affected her family. 

During the interview, the 'Level Up' hitmaker told host Robin Roberts about one of her recent appointments. 

She had to FaceTime Russell from the doctor's office so he could experience the ultrasound with her. Ciara was also wearing a mask during her visit - which is compulsory at some facilities in America.  

"The life of a pregnant woman in Covid-19 Era is very interesting... " Ciara wrote on Instagram. 

Robin asked the 34-year-old what it was like not having her husband in the room with her. 

"It was the first time we ever had that kind of experience and it was really a moment that marked the time we are living in... we made the best of it but it was definitely surreal," Ciara said.

The Grammy Award-winner added that women can keep their spouses engaged during their pregnancy by using technology to involve them as much as possible. 

"I took tons and tons of videos, tons and tons of photos during the ultrasound and made the best of that and also what we do in our house is we sing to the belly. When Russell puts his hand on my belly, the baby starts to move a lot... The more that you do those kinds of things, it allows you guys to bond and to really make the best of the moment.”

Ciara will reportedly give birth in late December/early January. She is already a mom to three-year-old Sienna Princess Wilson and five-year-old Future Zahir Wilburn - whom she shares with rapper Future.

Ciara is enjoying her pregnancy just as much as her previous ones. She has particularity liked styling her baby bump.
