Watch: Cardi B dumps Offset

Four months after welcoming her daughter Kulture into the world, Cardi B has announced that she is splitting from her baby's daddy, rapper Offset. 

The couple secretly tied the knot in 2017, but it looks like the honeymoon period is already over. 

Cardi B took to Instagram to Tuesday to tell her fans that they simply "grew out of love". 

"I've been trying to work things out with my baby father for a hot minute now," she told her 36-million followers.

The 26-year-old admitted that they have been having problems in their relationship for a while now.

"...We got a lot of love for each other but things just haven't been working out between us for a long time. It's nobody fault I guess we just grew out of love but we are not together anymore."

Cardi, whose real name is Belcalis Almanzar, says they remain "really good friends" and "really good business partners".

"I don't know it might take time to get a divorce and I'm going to always have a lot of love for him because he is my daughter's father," she added. 

It's not the first time the couple's relationship has been on the rocks. In December last year, a sex tape showing Offset with another woman was made public.

The Migos rapper's phone was allegedly hacked. Cardi B forgave him, telling her fans, cheating happens to everyone.

"No it's not right for a n---a to cheat... But what you want me to do? Go f**k me another n***a? start all over again and get cheated on again? This s**t happens to everyone and I be too You too... People handle they relationship different so," the 'Bodak Yellow'  hitmaker told a fan on Instagram earlier this year. 

Despite the obvious cracks in the relationship, Cardi's followers are still shocked by her break-up news.

Offset was slammed on social media for allegedly commenting, "y'all won" on Cardi B's post.

"Cardi B posted a video announcing that her and Offset aren’t together anymore and this dummy commented and said “y’all won” as if we told his dumb ass to go out and cheat. typical man," one woman wrote.
