Legendary artist Beyonce Knowles took time out of her busy schedule to make a fan’s dream come true.

Lyric 'Yhung' Chanel died on Friday, 5 March, at the tender age of 13. The death comes after a two-year battle with brain cancer and anaplastic ependymoma.

Prior to her death, the teen girl made it known that she is a big fan of Knowles.

Last year, she shared a video of herself singing ‘Love On Top’.

Beyonce saw the video and responded by sending her flowers and a card in the hospital with the message: “Honey, Honey I can see the stars all the way from here, I can feel the sun whenever you're near. I was so moved to see how these lyrics inspired you, not nearly as much as you inspired me. I can't wait to meet you one day and I'm so happy you're home safely. You are a survivor. God bless, B.”

Recently, Knowles recorded an a cappella version of her three songs: ‘Brown Skin Girl’, ‘Halo’, and ‘Love on Top’ for her superfan.

She changed some of the lyrics of the song to include Lyric’s name, so the songs are more personal.

Knowles shared the video on her Twitter page. The video featured photos and video clips of Chanel.
