Warrior princess Pearl Thusi shines in new 'Scorpion King' trailer
Watch Pearl kick some major butt in 'Scorpion King: Book of Souls.'
Pearl Thusi took to Instagram this week to share the latest trailer for her new movie,'Scorpion King: Book of Souls'.
"ANOTHER ONE!!!! Are you ready!?" she captioned the clip.
'Scorpion King' stars American actor Zach McGowan, who has starred in movies and TV shows such as 'Shameless', 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.', and 'Terminator Salvation'.
The direct-to-DVD action film was shot in Cape Town last year.
Pearl plays a female warrior named Tala who helps the Scorpion King find the book of souls.
The movie is set to be released on October 23.
Pearl has had a number of career highs this year.
Her big screen film, 'Catching Feelings' starring comedian Kagiso Lediga, became the first South African film to be streamed in 180 countries around the world.
"So overwhelmed by reactions & feedback from people around the world! SO HUMBLED! A first for a South African production! CONGRATULATIONS," she wrote on Instagram.
We can't wait to see Pearl in action in 'Scorpion King'.
