'A Very Bonang Year' breaks South African viewership record

The show has made history by becoming the most-watched celebrity-driven reality series, reaching a viewership of over 2-million.
Queen B keeps breaking records.
Her SABC 1 reality show, ‘A Very Bonang Year’, made history on Saturday by becoming the most-watched celebrity-driven reality series on the channel.
The first show was watched by over 1.8-million viewers, but on Saturday, episode two attracted more than 2-million viewers. The show focuses on Bonang’s tours around the world. Some of the features include her trip to New York in 2019, her appearance on ‘The Breakfast Club’, receiving the E! Entertainment award, hosting Miss South Africa, and a behind-the-scenes look at the creation process of ‘Public Figures’.
The #AVeryBonangYear hashtag also reached an incredible 2.2-billion impressions over the broadcast period.

Bonang expressed her excitement at the achievement.
"part 2 was even better!! Over 2 MILLION VIEWERS!! Thank you for tuning in... #AVeryBonangYear #2MillionGang," she wrote on Instagram.
