Toddler takes his toy car for a spin during rush hour traffic
Updated | By East Coast Radio
Here’s something you certainly don’t see
every day.
A toddler in China is making headlines around the world after he was caught on surveillance cameras riding his toy car on a busy road in Lishui City.
Several vehicles, including a bus, had to slow down to dodge the boy during peak hour traffic.
No-one stopped to get the toddler off the road, including a woman who casually rides her bike past him.
A police officer, who had been patrolling the area, spotted the three-year-old and sprang into action.
He can be seen running on the side of the road before crossing traffic to get to the child.
The officer appears to ask the boy a question, who then responds by pointing down the street.
He manages to get the boy – and his ride - off the road without incident.
According to local reports, the toddler was safely returned home after the officer found his mother.
Phew, we think this little man should stick to riding his car at the park.
