Tim Tebow shows off his Afrikaans skills while eating droëwors with Demi-Leigh
Tim Tebow, who is engaged to South African beauty queen and former Miss Universe Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters, has shown off his Afrikaans skills on Instagram.
Former Miss South Africa and former Miss Universe Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters is engaged to Tim Tebow, an American professional baseball player. Her influence is starting to rub off on Tebow, as can be seen in a recent social media post.
Nel-Peters, who is from Sedgefield in the Western Cape, is proudly South African and is teaching her husband some local lingo - as well as introducing him to some local favourites.

"So if we have any meat lovers out there, Demi introduced me to Biltong and Droëwors from South Africa - and they're amazing! If you like to eat clean, these are great options" Tim captioned the video.
In the video, the couple are sitting on a couch as they enjoy the local snack.
Tim also takes the time to show off some of the Afrikaans words and phrases Demi-Leigh has taught him.
