'Thank you for the music' - Tributes pour in for 'Idols SA' runner-up Thami Shobede

The Twittersphere has erupted with tributes for 'Idols SA' season 12 runner-up Thami Shobede who has died at the age of 31.
'Rest in Power', 'Thank you for the music', 'Mzansi has lost a great talent' - that's the sentiment from South Africans who are mourning the death of 'Idols SA' season 12 runner-up Thami Shobede who died at 31.
According to IOL, the news of his death was confirmed by Mzansi Magic.
It is reported that Shobede died at a hospital in Pretoria. Since the news broke, tributes have been streaming in from friends, family, and fans who have mourned his loss.

'Idols South Africa' have put out a message on their Facebook page about his death.
"As Mzansi Magic and #IdolsSA , we are saddened by the passing of our former Idols SA contestant, Thami Shobede. Thami was a very talented musician with lots still to offer to the music industry. "Our deepest condolences to his family and friends. He will be greatly missed", says Philly Kubheka, HOD, PR and Publicity for Local Entertainment Channels," the post read.
The 'Idols SA' star released a debut album titled, 'Never Lost' and went on to debut his single, 'Sthandwa'.
