Tamaryn Green takes a mini break after Miss Universe pageant

Beauty queen Tamaryn Green is enjoying some downtime in Thailand after finishing in the top three at the Miss Universe pageant.
Miss South Africa Tamaryn Green in soaking up the sun in Thailand after a successful showing at the Miss Universe pageant.
The 24-year-old took home the first princess title at Monday night's ceremony in Bangkok, Thailand. Miss Philipines Catriona Gray was crowned the winner.
But Tamaryn is anything but down after missing out on the crown.

She remained in Thailand with her family for a mini-break after weeks of preparation for the pageant.
The Green family flew to Phuket one day after the ceremony to enjoy some downtime.
They stopped by the Phuket Big Buddha where Tamaryn left a special message for the people of Thailand.
"Thank you, Thailand for a memorable and blessed Miss Universe experience. You will always be in my heart... Keep on loving and smiling," she wrote on a gold metal leaf.
The pageant might be over but Tamaryn is still beaming with pride after her amazing run at Miss Universe.
"My heart is Happy South Africa. What a life changing experience to have competed in Miss Universe and achieve 1st runner-up representing my beautiful rainbow nation. Thank you to everyone who showed love and support!!" she wrote on Instagram.
