SZA's sophomore album, 'SOS', is continuing its dominance on the music charts.

The R&B album debuted at number one in December and has retained the top spot for five weeks in a row. According to Billboard, the last time an album spent its first five weeks at #1 was Adele's '30', which was released in 2021.

'SOS' is also the first R&B album by a woman to achieve the feat since Janet Jackson's 1993 classic, 'janet'.

Several songs from the album are also making waves on the singles chart. 'Kill Bill' - which is named after Quentin Tarantino's martial arts movie franchise - is currently at number three on the Billboard Hot 100 behind Taylor' Swift's 'Anti-Hero' and Sam Smith's 'Unholy'

The 33-year-old's songs, 'Shirt', 'Nobody Gets Me', 'Low', 'Blind', 'Snooze', 'Love Language', Seek & Destroy', 'Used', and 'Ghost In The Machine' featuring Phoebe Bridgers also appear on the chart. 'Special', 'Gone Girl', and 'SOS' also make an appearance.

SZA, whose real name is Solána Imani Rowe, is overwhelmed by her new album's success. She took to Instagram earlier this month to thank her fans for their support.

"I don’t have s**t to say but thank you to God, my ancestors, my family, my team, and ALL OF YOU THAT RIDE FOR ME! ESPECIALLY CAMP!! Y’all my family too. We have so much more to come," she wrote

Lil Nas X, Alicia Keys, Chloe Bailey, Kehlani, JoJo, Lizzo, and Justin Timberlake congratulated SZA on her album's success.

"You deserve it all!!!" Justin said. Lizzo added: 'Biggest star on the planet!'

An unofficial SZA song is also making music news. 'Big Boys' was recorded exclusively for her 'Saturday Night Live' (SNL) appearance alongside Keke Palmer in December.

The skit song has become a huge hit on platforms such as TikTok and Instagram, but is not available as an official single as yet.

"That was [made in] 15 minutes at the end of a rehearsal. I just went in there and they were like, 'This is our 'Big Boys' song. Would you be down to do this hook?' And I was like, 'Yes.' I did it with my engineer, and he helped out with the song. It was cool," she told Entertainment Weekly last month.
