Singer-songwriter Taylor Swift made a huge announcement at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night. The 32-year-old surprised the audience by revealing that she will be releasing a new album in October.
The 'August' hitmaker shared the news while accepting the awards show's top honour. She won 'Video of The Year' for the 10-minute version of her hit song, 'All Too Well' (Taylor’s Version).
"I know with every second of this moment that we wouldn’t have been able to make this short film if it weren’t for you - the fans because I wouldn’t be able to re-record my albums if it weren’t for you. You emboldened me to do that.
"I thought it might be a fun moment to tell you that my brand new album comes out Oct. 21,” she said to applause.
