South African stars wow at Naledi Theatre Awards

South Africa's biggest stars descended on the Lyric Theatre in Gold Reef City on Monday night for the 13th annual Naledi Theatre Awards. 

Some of the night's biggest winners included the musical 'Annie', which took home four awards, including 'Best Production of a Musical'. 

South African icon Johnny Clegg was honoured with the 'World Impact Award'.

'Shrek the Musical' and 'Singin’ in the Rain' won two awards each, while 'I See You' was praised in the 'Best Production of a Play'.

Veteran actress Ilse Klink took home the 'Lead Actress in a Play' for her performance in 'Scorched'.

The cast of 'Sarafina' closed the show with an amazing performance that had the audience on its feet. 

All eyes were also on the red carpet though, where SA's A-list stars were dressed to the nines.
