Sorry, Prince William! Vin Diesel named sexiest bald man alive

Prince Williams's two-year run as the world’s hottest bald man has come to an end. 'Fast & Furious' actor, Vin Diesel, now holds the title after scoring higher than England's future king in a study. 

The study was conducted by the London-based company Reboot. The SEO company considered several factors to create an index score out of ten for its 'Top 10 Sexiest Bald Men' list. 

"We input a few photos of each celebrity into a computer vision algorithm, which was able to identify prominent features, otherwise known as facial “landmarks”. Ratios between the computed landmarks were then used to find the geometric golden ratio of each image. An approximation of the golden ratio for each celebrity was determined by averaging the ratios across all samples," Reboot said. 

The company also looked at factors such as public opinion, height, and shine factor - yip, the luminance of their bald heads was also put under the spotlight.  

Vin Diesel came out tops. The 55-year-old scored an index score of 6.46 out of 10. While he didn't get the highest percentage in the golden ratio score, Vin Diesel's net worth - estimated to be $225 million (R4.1-billion) - gave him an extra edge.

Prince William dropped from #1 last year to #5 in 2022 with an overall score of 6.13.

"His score is primarily boosted by his grand net worth of 100 million and height. Prince William is the second tallest man in the study's top 10 finalists, after Dwayne ''The Rock' Johnson."

Stanley Tucci, Shemar Moore, and Pitbull rounded off the top five. Shockingly, Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, one of Hollywood's highest-paid actors, scored 3.62 out of 10 for a ninth place finish.

"If there’s one thing Dwayne doesn’t have to worry about, it’s his height—he’s the tallest celebrity in the top 10 at 1.74 metres which certainly helped his final score," Reboot said.
