Threesomes, "bad sex", and domestic violence claims - Somizi opens up about his troubled marriage.
Somizi Mhlongo kicked off the latest season of his new reality show with some interesting revelations about his relationship with his estranged husband, Mohale Motaung.
The first episode of 'Living the Dream with Somizi' saw the media personality addressing some of the issues they experienced in their marriage.
The former lovers confirmed they were calling it quits in 2021 after just one year of marriage.

The confirmation came shortly after audio from a conversation Mohale had with the reality show's producers went viral.
Mohale accused Somizi of shocking abuse. He alleged that Somizi threatened him with a knife and broke his ribs during violent altercations that were fuelled by jealousy.
Mohale also claimed that the 'Idols SA' judge enjoyed group sex and often suggested that they had threesomes. Somizi denied the abuse allegations but admitted that there was one altercation where he had to defend himself and both "were physically hurt by the other".
He accused Mohale of trying to smear his reputation.
Somizi shared more details of his version of events on his reality show. He says he was "shocked" by 95% of the things mentioned in the viral audio.
Somizi says "there were so many red flags" that he brushed off when they were dating.
He also addressed Mohale's remarks about their sex life.
"There's a part where he says I suggested threesomes... My suggestion of not an open relationship, a versatile relationship, was for the benefit of our marriage... because here I was dealing with someone who had issues with sex... I tried to find so many ways of making it work... the sex life was bad," the 49-year-old revealed.
Somizi says he even suggested sex therapy but Mohale was in denial about their bad sex life.

The reality star also touched on the domestic violence claims and how he almost lost everything.
"The assault allegations are something that the court should deal with. I don't take them likely... That I will deal with it legally."
Somizi's best friend, Vusi Nova, also shared his views on the relationship.
"Did I like Mohale? No. I only tolerated him because Somizi loved him so much and that love he never got back," he said.

Social media users had mixed reactions to Somizi's revelations on the show.
"Sorry is this Living the Dream with Somizi or a Mohale expose/bashing?" one Twitter user asked.
Another user added: "Let Somizi tell his story. The man almost lost his entire career over this. What's wrong with yall??? When Mohale did, he was not interrupted."

I feel like the power imbalance in Somizi and Mohale's relationship was the first red flag. Their relationship was doomed from the beginning and they are both equally to blame. #LTDWSOMIZI

Did you hit him?
“If” you did you must face the consequences & I will love you through them…
It’s irrelevant how they met or how others felt about Mohale or their relationship at this point…#LTDWSOMIZI pic.twitter.com/0ZJmnP4lT2
