"So proud of you" - Priyanka Chopra sends Pearl Thusi some love

Priyanka Chopra "can't wait" to see Pearl Thusi in action in her upcoming spy drama, 'Queen Sono'.
'Queen Sono' is Netflix's first African original series.
The official trailer for the six-part series was released several days ago.
It shows Pearl kicking some major butt as special agent Queen Sono.
Priyanka, who became close friends with Pearl while working on 'Quantico', was so impressed with the trailer she gave the SA star a shout-out on Twitter.
"So proud of u @PearlThusi this looks amazing! Can’t wait!" the actress tweeted.

Critics have described Pearl's character as a "Jason Bourne-like heroine".
According to a synopsis of the show, Queen Sono becomes a "kick-a** unconventional spy" after the assassination of her mother.
She is devoted to protecting the people of Africa.
"During a dangerous field assignment, Queen unknowingly uncovers shocking details about her mother's death, sparking her own truth-finding mission," the synopsis reads.
Netflix released a few clips that show some of Pearl's amazing fight scenes.
'Queen Sono' is written and directed by local actor Kagiso Lediga.
The show will be premiere on February 28 and will be available in 190 countries.
