Siya Kolisi's wife and children officially move to Durban
Updated | By Tamlyn Canham
The Kolisi family are officially Durbanites.
Siya Kolisi's wife, Rachel Kolisi, and their two children have made the big move to Durban nearly two years after he joined the Cell C Sharks team.
Rachel took to Instagram a few days ago to reveal the big news.
"Today I moved 3 kids, 2 dogs and 6379 bags to Durban. My 2nd move in 2 months. That’s aside from exams, prize givings, dentist visits, Q time with each kid, work, working out, therapy and more," she wrote.

Siya joined the Sharks in February 2021 on a multi-year deal. The 31-year-old made the move to KwaZulu-Natal alone, leaving his family, including his siblings, Liyema and Liphelo, in Cape Town.
Rachel indicated at the time that she would not be moving to Durban with Siya, and would be supporting him from the 'Mother City' over the next 10 months.
But it looks like the family is ready to make Durban their new home for the duration of Siya's contract with the Sharks.
The family was spotted cheering Siya on at his latest game.

Siya's younger sister, Liphelo, was also pictured. He became his siblings' legal guardian after their mother died in 2009.
They were separated for a few years but Siya eventually found them in the foster care system in 2012. The Springbok captain and his wife has been raising them ever since.
“My little sister didn’t know me. She had been crawling when I last saw her. I told the woman taking care of them that I was going to take them for December holidays that year, which I did. But afterwards I said I can’t send them back. I had to go through a legal process, which I started after that holiday. It took about 18 months, but I finally legally adopted them,” he told The Guardian
We're glad the Kolisi family will be making new memories in Durban.

Meanwhile, Rachel has denied rumours that she is expecting another child. Rachel shared an Instagram post several days ago that hinted at a surprise. "We got the BEST surprise yesterday," she wrote.
Many assumed Rachel's vague post meant that the Kolisi family was growing. But she set the record straight on Monday.
"Just here to confirm that I am not pregnant," she captioned a picture of herself at the gym.
