Sharks and Drakensberg Boys Choir join forces for fun dance video
Updated | By Tamlyn Canham
We didn't see this dance video collaboration coming!
The Cell C Sharks are known for their stamina, agility, and strength on the rugby field, but we can now add awesome dance moves to their long list of talents.
The Durban-based team has partnered with the Drakensberg Boys Choir to create an amazing dance video. It all started when the Sharks team saw a video of the choir performing Imagine Dragons' hit single, 'Follow You'.
They decided to marry sports and culture in a fun way. Several players including Springbok captain Siya Kolisi, Thomas du Toit, and Grant Williams took part in the video.
The players were a little anxious about showing off their dance moves for the world to see, but ended up having "good fun with the boys".
"They've achieved great stuff so [I'm] looking forward to learning from them," Cell C Sharks prop Ntuthuko Mchunu said in a behind-the-scenes video.

The Drakensberg Boys Choir is equally thrilled to have worked with the Sharks.
"Magic happens when the arts and sports come together! Following the success of the original Follow You video, The Sharks Rugby team reached out to the Drakensberg Boys Choir to do a collaboration, bringing the two different worlds of Sport and Art together. We are so honoured to have been able to take part in this incredible project involving two iconic Kwazulu Natal brands," the choir wrote on YouTube.
The video turned out amazing! Watch the magic unfold below.
