Say what?! Somizi and Mohale want their wedding guests to wear "red bottoms"
Updated | By Tamlyn Canham
Do Somizi and Mohale really expect their wedding guests to wear Christian Louboutin's expensive "red bottom" shoes? At R7,000 a pair, they ain't cheap!
Somizi Mhlongo and Mohale Motaung have "one last" request for guests attending their white wedding this month.
The couple have asked their family and friends to wear "red bottoms", aka Louboutin shoes.
"Trusting that your outfit is coming together, just one last request from us: Can your shoes please be Red Bottoms. We are obsessed with the idea of a stunning red bottom group picture, for that touch of finesse,” a message sent to their guests reads.
Somizi captioned a screenshot of the message: "Our guests are breathing through the wound #somhalewhitewedding."

'Somhale' did not specify which "red bottoms" people should wear but every fashionista knows that Christian Louboutin heels are the only "red bottom" footwear celebrities will be caught dead in.
The French designer's shoes don't come cheap. One pair costs between R7,000 and R90,000.
In the words of Cardi B, "these expensive/ these is red bottoms/ these is bloody shoes".
We doubt Somizi and Mohale's famous friends will have a problem rocking "red bottoms". Bonang Matheba, Lerato Kganyago, and Thando Thabethe - who were all invited to their traditional wedding - have been spotted in Louboutin heels in the past.
But many brands sell shoes with "red bottoms", so guests struggling in Janu-worry can get away with wearing knock-offs!

Somgaga and his husband threw a lavish celebration ahead of their wedding.
The Idols SA judge is known for his lavish lifestyle and his followers are expecting the wedding to be an extravagant affair.
A simple request like "red bottoms" does not seem like a big ask for a man who probably owns several pairs.
Here's a look at what Twitter users think about Somizi and Mohale's dress code:
