Say what? Jennifer Aniston tried a salmon sperm facial

The 'Friends' star is sharing her weird skincare routine...
Jennifer Aniston is ageing like a fine wine, but is a salmon sperm facial the reason behind her glowing skin?
The 54-year-old admitted to using the bizarre skincare treatment in an interview with the Wall Street Journal (WSJ). Jennifer says an aesthetician recommended the facial to her.
"First of all, I said, 'Are you serious?' How do you get salmon's sperm?'" E! News quoted the actress as saying.
The verdict is still out on whether salmon sperm is the secret to youthful skin, as Jennifer said she couldn't really tell if the treatment made a big difference.
Salmon sperm is often used in South Korean skincare.
According to the Radiance Aesthetic Clinic, skin treatments containing salmon sperm extract can help increase collagen production.
They can also improve acne scarring, stretch marks, Rosacea and inflammation.

Jennifer revealed that she also goes for weekly peptide injections, which is another anti-ageing skincare favourite.
"I do think that's the future," she told WSJ.

Weird skincare routines
Jennifer is not the only star who has tried a bizarre skincare treatment. Kim Kardashian helped make vampire facials popular in 2013.
The treatment sees a doctor drawing your own blood, isolating its platelet-rich plasma (PRP), and then injecting it back into your skin!
Hailey Bieber has also tried a vampire facial.
“I love to experiment and try new things. I've done facial cupping, acupuncture, microcurrent facials, and more. A treatment I do every couple of months is PRP. They’ll take my blood and use the plasma then roll it into my skin. I leave the plasma on my skin for a day and then wash it off the next day," the model told Marie Claire in 2020.
She added: "It gives me the most amazing, smooth glow. I’m going to continue to do this forever—it's my preferred anti-aging method."
One of Gwyneth Paltrow's favourite facials is a bee sting treatment! Yes, you read right. The Goop founder voluntarily gets her face stung by bees!
"I've been stung by bees. It's a thousands of years old treatment called apitherapy. People use it to get rid of inflammation and scarring. It's actually pretty incredible if you research it. But, man, it’s painful," she told The New York Times in 2016.
