Royal drama! Prince Albert's paternity suit & Charlene's new hairdo

Monaco’s Royal family is dealing with one of the biggest scandals of 2020 and it is all unraveling before our eyes.

Princess Charlene, who is married to Prince Albert - the reigning Prince of Monaco, unveiled a shocking new hairdo a week ago that raised more than a few eyebrows. 

The former South African swimmer turned heads in a half-shaven hairdo at a Christmas event.

Coco Chanel said it best: "A woman who cuts her hair is about to change her life." But what could have promoted Charlene's rebellious (by royal standards) punk hairdo?

Many believe Prince Albert's recent love-child drama could be the reason.

The 62-year-old royal has been hit with a paternity suit. A Brazilian woman is claiming he is the father of her 15-year-old daughter. 

The teen was born in 2005 - five years after Prince Albert started dating Charlene.

Prince Albert has two other illegitimate children who were born long before he met Charlene. 

The latest paternity suit must be a blow for the princess, whose royal romance was anything but a fairy tale.

Days before their July 2011 wedding, rumours started to swirl that the soon-to-be princess was trying to make a run for it.  

Several reports claimed she tried to flee Monaco not once but three times. One attempt allegedly saw her seeking refuge at the South African embassy in France just two months before her big day. 

Charlene has poured cold water on claims that her marriage is in trouble. 

The princess took to Instagram on Monday to share sweet pictures of her family. 

Charlene and Albert are all smiles in one image. The couple's twins, Gabrielle and Jacques, also feature in the snaps.
