The Rolling Stones postpone Amsterdam show due to Mick Jagger contracting COVID-19
"The safety of the audience, fellow musicians, and the touring crew has to take priority."
The Rolling Stones will no longer be performing in Switzerland this coming Friday.
The postponement of the show comes after one of the band members tested positive for COVID-19.
Mick Jagger, the lead vocalist and one of the founder members of the band, is currently battling the infectious disease.
"The Rolling Stones have been forced to postpone their upcoming concert in Bern, Switzerland at Wankdorf Stadium on Friday June 17, following Mick Jagger testing positive for COVID," the band announced in a statement.

The decision was also taken to put the safety of others as a priority.
"The Rolling Stones are deeply sorry for this postponement, but the safety of the audience, fellow musicians and the touring crew has to take priority."
The band is also scheduled to perform next week at Milan's San Siro Stadium and have announced that the show will continue.
"The Stones Milan show on Tuesday, June 21 at San Siro Stadium goes ahead and will take place as scheduled. The Bern show will be rescheduled for a later date. Ticket holders should retain their tickets. Tickets for the June 17 performance will be honored for the rescheduled date. Reschedule details will be announced as soon as available."
Scores of people have wished Sir Mick a speedy recovery.
