Rolene Strauss shares adorable gender reveal video
The gender reveal didn't go as planned but it left Rolene's family and fans in stitches...
Miss South Africa 2014 Rolene Strauss has shared a hilarious video of her gender reveal.
The 31-year-old posted a video of the moment her husband, Daniel Strauss - also known as D'Niel, and their two children found out the sex of the baby on Instagram.
Rolene titled the video: "How NOT to do a gender reveal." Her sons were initially supposed to throw water balloons at her. Some of the balloons had plain water in them while one of them would have had blue or pink coloured water.
But things didn't go as planned!
Despite her sons throwing the balloons at Rolene - who was wearing a white dress - as hard as they could, most of them did not pop. The ones that did burst were the balloons with plain water.

After lots of giggles and an "ouch" or two from Rolene, the couple decided to move on to plan B. Their sons then used water guns for the big reveal.
"Our third baby is a…. healthy, happy, and growing baby BOY!!!" Rolene said.
Rolene also assured her followers that she was not injured during the gender reveal.
"It was a complete failed attempt, but it is what it is! PS: no one was hurt in the process, it looks much worse than it was! I haven’t laughed this much in such a long time."

Rolene's friends and followers flooded the comments section with messages of congratulations.
"So cute! Congratulations Rolene and D’Niel and the boys!" former Miss South Africa Tatum Keshwar wrote.
An Instagram user commented: "Congratulations. Love that this gender reveal was such a boy mom energy."
A few days before the gender reveal, Rolene shared a video of herself trying to guess the gender of her baby based on old wives' tales.
Most of her followers, including current Miss SA Natasha Joubert, said they hoped that baby number three would be a girl.
Well, looks like it will be a house full of boys for Rolene in 2024!
