Rihanna is taking her father Ronald Fenty and his business partner, Moses Perkins, to court for exploiting her family surname.

The singer, who was born Robyn Rihanna Fenty, trademarked her surname and uses it for her million dollar Fenty Beauty business.

The 'Work' singer has accused her father of falsely connecting her to his business, Fenty Entertainment.

She wants a court to prevent Ronald from continuing to use the name. The Grammy Award winner approached the court after he reportedly failed to stop, despite being sent several cease and desist letters by her team.

"Defendants continue to this date to use their misrepresentations for their commercial advantage and to mislead the public," her lawyers state in her lawsuit, according to the BBC.

The 30-year-old further claims that her old man's company booked several shows for her to perform in Latin America without her permission.

Her father allegedly claimed she ran the $15-million tour deal via her record label, Roc Nation. Rihanna refutes this.
