Rihanna and Kim Kardashian feature on Forbes' new billionaire list

Kanye West drops off the list, while Elon Musk is knocked off the top spot by the head of the LVMH (Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton SE) group.

Forbes has released its latest billionaires list and A-list stars such as Kim Kardashian, Rihanna, and rapper Jay-Z made the cut.
With a net worth of $1,3-billion (R23-billion), Kim is one of the richest celebrities on the planet. Despite the huge figure, the SKIMS and SKKN by Kim founder ranks #2259 on the 2023 billionaires list.
The reality star's ex-husband, Kanye West, dropped off the list after parting ways with Adidas due to his anti-Semitic remarks.
Kanye's net worth dropped by $2-billion and now stands at $400-million. Kim's sister, Kylie Jenner, who was once named the 'youngest self-made billionaire', fell off the billionaire's list in 2021.
The Kylie Cosmetic owner is worth around $600-million.

Rihanna net worth
Rihanna came in #2002 on the billionaire's list with a net worth of $1.4-billion. The figure is down from $1.7-billion last year.
The 'Diamonds' hitmaker - who has not released an album since 2016's 'Anti' - makes most of her fortune from her Fenty Beauty brand.
Rihanna co-owns the brand with French luxury goods company, LVMH. The company's head, Bernard Arnault, is 2023's richest billionaire. His family is worth a whopping $212-billion.
South African-born billionaire Elon Musk is #2 on the list with a net worth of $180-billion.
Jeff Bezos ($114-billion), Larry Ellison ($107-billion), and Warren Buffett ($106-billion) also feature in the top five of Forbes' '25 Richest People in the World' list.
