Prince William gets helicopter for his birthday

Prince William was given an £8-million helicopter from his grandmother Queen Elizabeth for his birthday.
Britain's Prince William received a helicopter for his 32nd birthday.
The lucky royal was presented with the ultimate birthday gift from his grandmother Queen Elizabeth on Sunday, according to the Daily Mirror newspaper.
William is now the proud joint owner of six-year-old Agusta A109S Grand, which has already been dubbed 'Heirforce One' after the US President's aircraft, and can fly at speeds up to 180mph.
The helicopter will come in handy to whisk the prince and his wife Duchess Catherine off to their royal engagements quickly, so they can make the most of their time at home with their 11-month-old son, Prince George.
The £8 million chopper boasts custom leather seats, carries up to seven people and will be made available for other members of the royal family to use.
It is not known whether the Duke of Cambridge, who is an RAF helicopter pilot, will be manning the aircraft himself.
He began his military training in 2009 at RAF Valley in Anglesey, Wales, but renounced his position with the Search and Rescue Force last year to focus on his family and his royal engagements.
