The Kolisi family reunited in Zululand this week for a luxurious safari experience.
Siya Kolisi has adjusted to his new life in Durban since joining the Cell C Sharks. But his big move to the city means spending less time with his family in Cape Town.
The Springbok captain reunited with his wife, Rachel Kolisi, and their children, Nicholas and Keziah, this week. The Kolisi family enjoyed a midweek break at Phinda Private Game Reserve in Zululand.
Siya shared several pictures from their family getaway on Instagram.
"So excited to spend a few days at @andbeyondphinda with the family before it’s time to head back on tour," he captioned a picture with his kids.
A mini-break doesn't mean Siya can slack on his fitness. The rugby star started his mornings with a bush run, followed by a "lekker gym session" with Nicholas and Keziah.
"The run was an experience. Happy, scared, peaceful, nervous and curious felt all of that but enjoyed it!" he wrote.
The Kolisi family also enjoyed a game drive together. The family spotted lions, rhinos, giraffes, and hyenas during the drive.
Siya enjoyed his downtime before heading back to his teammates in Durban.
"So grateful we get to experience this!" he wrote.
