One Direction star banned from driving after speeding incident

Liam Payne has apologised for speeding and agreed to pay a fine.
Former One Direction star Liam Payne has been temporarily banned from driving following a speeding incident in England earlier this year.
The ban will last for six months.
The 'Strip That Down' singer was also fined £293 (R6,700), the BBC reports.
Liam was reportedly caught driving 43mph in a 30mph zone in February. He was behind the wheel of his Ford Ranger at the time.
According to The Standard, Liam pleaded guilty and also apologised to the court.
“I did not realise the speed limit and apologise for speeding. However, I will pay any fine imposed within 14 days," the publication quoted a letter he wrote to the court.

MORE FROM EAST COAST RADIO
Liam has been keeping a low profile on social media over the past few weeks. His last post on Instagram was on August 25.
He shared a video about postponing his tour.
"It’s with a heavy heart I have to tell you that we have no other choice but to postpone my upcoming tour of South America. Over the past week, I’ve been in hospital with a serious kidney infection, it’s something I wouldn’t wish on anyone, and doctors orders are that I now need to rest and recover," he said.
He has, however, been spotted out and about. The 30-year-old was pictured in Northern Ireland last week. Liam was reportedly in the country to film a new travel show.
