New season, new drama! 'RHODurban' S5 teaser is here
Durban's favourite reality show is back, and Nonku Williams is already causing a stir with her "marriage".
Showmax has shared a first look at the new season of 'The Real Housewives of Durban' (RHODurban) and viewers are in for another wild ride.
The teaser trailer opens with Nonku Williams discussing her relationship status.
"I'm very much single," the entrepreneur says proudly. However, she then corrects herself to reveal that she is not single but a married woman.
"I am married to Jesus Christ, my Lord and Saviour."
The entire sneak peek is dedicated to Williams and her "spiritual" journey. She reads the bible as a gospel song plays in the background.
"I'm in my safe haven. I'm in my home, doing what I love to do," she says.
Dramatic clips from the past season flash on the screen during her prayer session.
"God is a God of second chances. I mean, I have messed up in the past," she confesses. "But you know what, God always has His arms open."
Will she be showing viewers her drama-free life this season? New year, new Williams?
Whatever she has planned, fans are ready to watch the journey unfold.
"Nonku makes the show. Hate her or love her... she understands the assignments. And I live for the airy fairy friendship with Jojo," one YouTube user commented.
Another fan added: "I've never been this happy for a new season of a show before, can't wait. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😍😍."
Some questioned if Williams was making a mockery of religion in the teaser. But a quick look at her Instagram page will show...

You'll have to tune in to see what Ms Williams is up to this season. In her defence, she has opened up about her religion in previous seasons.
But fans have questioned her faith due to her eyebrow-raising behaviour on the show.
"Here we go again with the Jesus storyline that doesn’t align with her actions 😭😭😭 ," an X user said.
Several cast members are returning for season five.
Fan favourites JoJo Robinson and Sorisha Naidoo are back to show off their glamorous lifestyles as Durban's richest housewives.
Angel Ndledla is also in the mix. Plus, three new housewives are joining the show.
Slee Ndlovu and Maria Valaskatzis are noticeably absent.
"Season 4 ended in dramatic, unforgettable fashion when Sorisha stormed off from the reunion, vowing never to speak to Jojo or Nonku again. The tension soared as the Housewives split into two rival camps. On one side, Sorisha, Angel, Slee Ndlovu and Ameigh Thompson; on the other, Nonku, Jojo, Maria Valaskatzis, and Zama Ngcobo," Showmax said in a statement.
Sam Kelly, executive producer at Let it Rain Films, says many twists and turns await.
