The world’s most notorious game becomes reality... here's everything you need to know about 'Squid Game: The Challenge'.
Netflix is giving 'Squid Game' fans a sneak peek of what they can expect from their upcoming reality competition.
The streaming platform gave 'Squid Game: The Challenge' the green light in June 2022, labelling it "the biggest reality competition series ever".
During Tudum's virtual global fan event held at the weekend, Netflix released new details about the series - including a teaser clip of what producers have been working on.
Contestants can be seen walking into a room to take part in the 'Red Light, Green Light' game. The famous "killer" doll that appeared in season one of the series also features.
The clip opens with the words: "This Novemer, the world’s most notorious game becomes reality."

The reality competition will have the largest cast. A total of 456 real-life contestants will be vying for the $4.56- million (R83-million) cash prize.
"As they compete through a series of games inspired by the original show - plus surprising new additions - their strategies, alliances, and character will be put to the test while competitors are eliminated around them. The stakes are high, but in this game the worst fate is going home empty-handed," Netflix said in a statement.
Stories of what has been happening during production have already started leaking.
Some eliminated contestants told The Sun that they had to compete in -3C temperatures while remaining motionless while filming one part of the competition, which was shot in the UK.
"Even if hypothermia kicked in then people were willing to stay for as long as possible because a lot of money was on the line. Too many were determined not to move so they stood there for far too long. There were people arriving thinking they were going to be millionaires but they left in tears," one contestant claimed.
Netflix responded to the accusations, saying "claims of serious harm to players are simply untrue".

Season one broke streaming records and went on to win numerous awards.
According to Variety, it recorded a whopping 1.65-billion hours of viewing in the 28 days after its release.
The series' lead actor, Lee Jung-jae, won 'Best Actor In A Drama' at the Emmy Awards. He is the first actor to win the category for a non-English speaking role.
Fellow cast member, Lee Yoo-mi - who played Ji-yeong - won 'Outstanding Guest Actress'. 'Squid Game' won a total of six awards.
