Natasha Joubert's partner of nearly nine years, Enrico Vermaak, put a ring on it...
Miss South Africa 2023 Natasha Joubert is on cloud nine after her boyfriend Enrico Vermaak asked her to be his wife.
The couple announced their engagement at the weekend. "Yes to today, tomorrow and every day after. Enrico and I are celebrating 8 years and 5 months together today and eternity to come," Natasha wrote on Instagram.
The 26-year-old was overcome with emotions when Enrico got down on one knee during a romantic cruise in Cape Town.
"The setting was perfect and so special as both our families and friends had flown down for the occasion," Natasha said in a statement.
She shared several pictures, including a close up of her gorgeous engagement ring.

MORE FROM EAST COAST RADIO:
Natasha had no idea that her family and friends were on the yacht. They were out of sight in the downstairs kitchen waiting patiently for the big moment.
"I was filming content on the front of the yacht when suddenly Enrico was standing there, ready to propose, with our friends and family in tow. I am on cloud nine and so happy. It’s a dream come true," she said about the Friday night proposal.
Natasha and Enrico will walk down the aisle after her reign is over.
She was crowned Miss South Africa 2023 in August last year. Natasha, who was second runner-up at the 2022 pageant, decided to spend most of her reign focusing on SA projects.
She did not participate in any international pageants. First runner-up Bryoni Govender represented South Africa at the Miss Universe pageant.
"2023. A year that completely changed my life. A year that changed my perspective, that challenged me, that pushed me to grow and changed me into a women with more gratitude, more purpose and willingness. 2024 I am welcoming more growth, exploring more of who I am and my purpose," Natasha wrote in a post shared in January.
It looks like 2024 is going to be another exciting year for the beauty queen.
Congrats, Natasha and Enrico!
