The winner of Miss SA 2024 will take over from reigning beauty queen Natasha Joubert. Lebohang is a strong contender for the title.
Lebohang has a BA in Performing Arts and Media Communications from the University of KwaZulu-Natal. She is an educator in the performing arts and a choreographer.
The 27-year-old wants to use her platform to advocate for performing arts therapy in education.
"I decided to enter Miss South Africa because of my love for performance arts therapy which is something I'm intending to study for my postgraduate degree. My love for the performing arts has made me discover and facilitate safe spaces that have led me to the conclusion that performance arts are also part of the movement of change towards mental health, a topic currently being led by the likes of former Miss South Africa Shudu Musida and others," she said when she was announced as a Top 30 contestant.
Lebohang's supporters are rooting for her to bring the Miss SA crown back to KZN.
"So proud of you Lebo! God has ordered your steps and gone before you," one Instagram user wrote.
Another user commented: "That's my Ms SA."
