Mihlali Ndamase frustrated with pregnancy talk
Updated | By Tamlyn Canham
“You look pregnant” - Social media users sent Mihlali messages of congratulations despite the star not confirming she is with child.
Mihlali Ndamase is clapping back after a picture she shared on her Instagram page sparked pregnancy rumours.
The m was wearing a loose-fitting pink dress with a huge bow in the image.
“Pinktastic,” she captioned the post. While many people commented on how gorgeous she looked, others thought the 26-year-old was hiding a bun in the oven.
“I suspect pregnancy,” one Instagram user commented. Another user added: “You look pregnant.”

One woman went as far as congratulating Mihlali on her “pregnancy”. “Congratulations on your pregnancy wow this is Amazing!” she wrote.
“She’s definitely pregnant…she’s been hiding herself these days,” a fourth person commented.
Mihlali was less than impressed with the comments and replied to a few people. She told the women to stop being forward and to mind their business.
“suk'ndiphaphela wena,” she told one of her followers.

Mihlali – who is reportedly dating businessman Leeroy Sidambe – is not the first celebrity who had to put fans in their place for speculating about what is happening with her uterus.
Khanyi Mbau and Bonang Matheba both quashed pregnancy claims in December 2022.
“I'm not pregnant, bathong! I just had a tequila, for crying out loud!” she told Zimoja.
Khanyi also set the record straight after a picture she shared seemingly showed a small baby bump. She blamed premenstrual syndrome (PMS) for her bloated tummy.
“Took my bag for a stroll. For peace's sake, not pregnant, just PMS. Death by Instagram gynaecologists.”

Before giving birth to her son Netha in 2020, Minnie Dlamini had to continuously fend off pregnancy rumours.
She got so fed up that at one point she told people to stop asking women if they are pregnant.
“Let’s trust in God’s timing for the arrival of my offspring. We also need to be cognizant of how insensitive it is to speculate about pregnancy. You don’t know my journey or what I’ve been through or go through. Let’s just think before we tweet please,” she wrote on Twitter.
Can we stop asking people if they are pregnant in 2023?!
Business is going well...Let’s trust in God’s timing for the arrival of my offspring 🙏🏾 We also need to be cognizant of how insensitive it is to speculate about pregnancy. You don’t know my journey or what I’ve been through or go through. Let’s just think before we tweet please✌🏾
