Michael Jackson's son, Prince Jackson, is weighing in on whether he thinks Harry Styles is the new 'King of Pop'.
Rolling Stone magazine gave the former One Direction singer the title last year after a successful year of selling out stadiums around the world and dominating the charts with his hit single, 'As It Was'.
Harry was featured on the cover of the magazine's October/November 2022 issue. The headline read: "How the new King of Pop set the music world aflame."
Scores of people slammed the magazine, with some noting that the publication has never called anyone the new 'King of Rock and Roll' - a title owned by Elvis Presley.
"It's disrespectful to Michael Jackson's legacy to bill @Harry_Styles the New King of Pop, since he never made three dominant albums sales-wise like 'Off The Wall', 'Thriller', 'Bad'," one Twitter user wrote.
MJ's nephew, Taj Jackson - the son of Tito Jackson, also chimed in.
"There is no new King of Pop. You don’t own the title @RollingStone, and you didn’t earn it, my uncle did. Decades of dedication and sacrifice. The title has been retired. No disrespect to @Harry_Styles, he’s mega talented. Give him his own unique title," he wrote.

More than one year after the cover caused a stir online, Prince is sharing how he feels about it.
The 26-year-old told Mike Tyson on his 'Hotboxin' podcast that his late father spent decades earning the 'King of Pop' title.
"There are people who came before my generation - the technology generation - and they had to work their whole life, their a** off, to get to where they got to. And my generation kind of expects it to be fast... Harry Styles is a great artist. It's more so about these media publications that try to take away the title," he said.
Prince is one of the 'You Rock My World' hitmaker's three children. Paris Jackson - Michael's only daughter - also works in the music industry.

Michael's youngest child, Bigi Jackson - who was formerly known by his nickname Blanket, has kept a fairly low profile over the years but has been spotted out and about with his siblings.
