Jennie Garth is getting honest about menopause.
The Actress, best known for her role in the 90s teen drama - 'Beverly Hills, 90210', opened up about how menopause is affecting her, especially as she tries to stay fit in her 50s.
"I’m going to be real honest with you … I’ve been struggling with working out recently. My travel and work schedule, my body pain, not to mention menopause is a daily minefield, both physically & mentally," she captioned a video of herself at the gym.
Jennie says she stays motivated by forcing herself to work out.
"I know I’ll always feel better from doing it, but recently it just feels like my body is fighting against me at times. I forget that there’s so much happening inside me, causing so many changes, that of course I’m not always gonna feel or be able to perform how I’d like to (or expect to)," Jennie added.
The 52-year-old tries not to be too hard on herself when she battles to keep up with her fitness routine.
"I have to remind myself to give myself some grace! I’m doing the best I can & that makes me feel a little better. Tell me, how do you find working out challenging as we age & as we deal with these human changes?" she asked her followers.

Other stars who have talked candidly about their experience with menopause include Oprah Winfrey, Michelle Obama and Shania Twain.
"I think menopause was a very good thing for me because there were a lot more things changing in everything about me physically that I had to very quickly come to terms with. Menopause taught me to quickly say, ‘You know, it may only get worse. So, just love yourself now. Just get over your insecurities — they’re standing in your way. And fear is standing in your way,'" Shania, 58, told the New York Post in 2023.
Michelle, 60, told People magazine in 2022 that there is not a lot of conversation about menopause.
"I'm going through it, and I know all of my friends are going through it. And the information is sparse. I find that I cannot push myself as hard as I used to. That doesn't work out for me. That when I tear a muscle or pull something and then I'm out. The recovery time is not the same. You wind up balancing between staying fit enough and being kind enough on your body to stay in the game," she said.
Oprah, 70, prefers to have a positive outlook.
"So many women I've talked to see menopause as a blessing. I've discovered that this is your moment to reinvent yourself after years of focusing on the needs of everyone else," she told O Magazine.
