Melinda and her husband are awe-struck and teary-eyed after welcoming their baby into the world.
Former Miss South Africa Melinda Bam is beaming with pride following the birth of her first child with her husband Adriaan Bergh.
The 33-year-old took to Instagram to reveal that she gave birth to baby Bergh three weeks ago.
"But thís… this is something more, it’s something holy - sacred…this is love," she captioned a picture of her son's tiny hands.
Melinda says they have been enjoying every single moment with their son.
"Yes, we’ve gone into hiding the last three weeks. We wanted to drink in every moment and view it through our awe-struck teary eyes. It really has been a sacred time…we’ll let you in soon.

Melinda shared another picture of herself cradling the little boy.
"Afternoons I stare into a bit of heaven… I’m not talking about the sunset or view, just these perfect blue eyes…" she wrote.
The couple, who tied the knot in 2014, has not revealed the name they have chosen for their son.
Fellow beauty queens Liesl Laurie and Rolene Strauss joined Melinda's fans in congratulating her on the new addition to her family.
"Congrats Melinds," Liesl wrote.
'Blood & Water' star Greteli de Swardt - who also became a mom for the first time in 2023 - left heart emojis under Melinda's post.

Melinda Bam baby shower
Melinda announced she was expecting in October last year.
"When the desires of our hearts, God’s will, and God’s timing aligns perfectly - earth shakes, light rushes in and the heavens rejoice! THANK YOU JESUS!!!!!!!!!" she said.
She added in a separate post that she was in love with a human she has not even met.
Melinda's family and friends celebrated her baby boy at a chic baby shower in February. Her sister, Melissa Swart, and her sisters-in-law helped make the day extra magical.
"This day couldn’t have been more beautiful or special, with so many special women around me who lavished us with their love, warmth & generosity in celebration of our expected little boy. I generally cry when I’m both happy, moved & sad so you can imagine the waves of emotions I experienced having my mum, sister, grandmother, mother-in-law, sisters-in-law, dearest friends & mentors there all sharing in our joy."
