Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, is celebrating the successful launch of her new lifestyle brand, As Ever.

The website went live on Wednesday, unveiling the full As Ever product range for the first time, incl

This includes a shortbread cookie mix, herbal teas, flower sprinkles, honey with honeycomb and jam.

Markle has been teasing her jam for over a year. Fans first got a peek at the preserves when the duchess sent a few to her famous friends, including Chrissy Teigen and Mindy Kaling.

"We jammin! This might have been one of the best bites we’ve had all year – all we used is some rustic bread, salted butter, triple cream brie, thick-cut bacon and some @americanrivieraorchard jam! Took about 8 mins total and made us happy for the entire weekend," Teigen said on Instagram.

Markle initially named her brand American Riviera Orchard, which was inspired by the area she lives in, Montecito, Santa Barbara.

Santa Barbara is known as 'The American Riviera'.

"Last year, I had thought, 'American Riviera, that sounds like such a great name.' It’s my neighbourhood; it’s a nickname for Santa Barbara, but it limited me to things that were just manufactured and grown in this area," she explained in a business update shared on her new personal Instagram page.

Markle changed the name to As Ever, which means "as it’s always been" or "in the same way as always", and moved full steam ahead with her plans.

"Everyone knows that jam is my jam," she said.

The royal, who lives in Montecito with her husband, Prince Harry and their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, also talked about the jams in her Netflix cooking show, 'With Love, Meghan.'

She revealed that she started making homemade jams, which her friends and family loved.

While the jam is "inspired by the recipe Meghan crafted in her home kitchen", you aren't likely to get a jar of the raspberry spread made in her kitchen.

However, some of her online haters seemingly expect her to churn out 100s of jars in her kitchen.

Markle is having the last laugh after her products, which are sold exclusively on the brand's website, quickly sold out.

"Our shelves may be empty, but my heart is full! We sold out in less than one hour and I can’t thank you enough … for celebrating, purchasing, sharing, and believing. It’s just the start, @aseverofficial. Here we go!" she announced.

Fans are also impressed by the reasonable price range, at least for a celebrity brand.

A jar of her raspberry spread retails for $9 (R169) while her range of herbal teas, which include lemon, hibiscus and peppermint, sells for between $12 and $14 (R226 and R263).

Her crepe mix and shortbread cookie mix with flower sprinkles are also $14.

The highest-priced product on the website is the limited-edition wildflower honey with honeycomb, which costs $28 (R527) per bottle.

It looks like a lot in ZAR, but for Americans, the prices are a steal.

"Omgzzz the prices on As Ever are so cheap, with all that packaging for that price... Everything I clicked on is sold out. Meghan Sussex increase the price: this madness needs to stop. People are overbuying and some of us can't buy. I am angry. Sold out," one X user wrote.
