Meghan Markle shared an exciting update about her business venture, American Riviera Orchard, which launched in March 2024.

Not only is she changing the brand's name, but she has also revealed what fans can expect from the business in a video shared on Instagram.

"Some of you may have heard whispers about what I’ve been creating. In two weeks, my series on @netflix launches – but there’s something else I’ve been working on. I’m thrilled to introduce you to As Ever – a brand that I created and have poured my heart into," the duchess says in the post's caption.

The 43-year-old's new business name has been hidden in her posts this whole time. She signs off her posts with "as ever".

She explains how the name came about.

"'As ever’ means ‘as it’s always been’ or some even say ‘in the same way as always’. If you’ve followed along since my days of creating The Tig, you’ll know this couldn’t be truer for me.

"This new chapter is an extension of what has always been my love language, beautifully weaving together everything I cherish – food, gardening, entertaining, thoughtful living, and finding joy in the every day."

The royal promises to share "behind-the-scenes tidbits" as the launch draws closer.

"I can’t wait for you to get your hands on everything we’ve been creating."

The video shares further details about the project. It starts with her husband, Prince Harry, handing her the phone while she is sitting in a garden.

"It's recording," the Duke of Sussex, who is out of frame, tells her.

Markle opens up about why she ditched the name American Riviera Orchard

"Last year, I had thought, 'American Riviera, that sounds like such a great name.' It’s my neighborhood; it’s a nickname for Santa Barbara, but it limited me to things that were just manufactured and grown in this area," she explains.

"Then Netflix came on, not just as my partner in the show, but as my partner in my business, which was huge. So, I thought about it, and I’ve been waiting for a moment to share a name that I had secured in 2022, and this is the moment."

As Ever will sell jam, and "so many other products" that she uses in her home.

"Everyone knows that jam is my jam," she says.

Markle soft launched her jams in 2024, under the name American Riviera Orchard.

She sent jars of the jams to some of her celebrity friends including Chrissy Teigen, Kris Jenner, Tracee Ellis Ross, Mindy Kaling and Abigail Spencer.

The jam is yet to hit the shelf, but with As Ever's launch fast approaching her fans will soon get a taste of what she has been working on.

The former actor's Netflix cooking show, 'With Love, Meghan', will premiere on March 4.

It was originally scheduled for release on January 15, but the date was pushed back due to the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles

"I'm thankful to my partners at Netflix for supporting me in delaying the launch, as we focus on the needs of those impacted by the wildfires in my home state of California," she said in a statement.

With a new Instagram page, Netflix show, and business launching, 2025 is shaping up to be the year of the duchess.
