Meghan Markle debuts new entrepreneur-focused podcast
Updated | By Entertainment Reporter
The Duchess of Sussex discusses the pressures of launching a business in her new podcast featuring some of the world's top female founders.

Meghan Markle's highly anticipated podcast, 'Confessions of a Female Founder', has finally made its debut.
It is her first with Lemonada Media, which also had distribution rights to season one of her Spotify podcast, 'Archetypes'.
To celebrate the launch of her new podcast, the duchess shared a picture of herself selling cookies as a child.
"Being an entrepreneur can start young. (By the way, all these years later and I’m still selling cookies!)," she wrote.
The first episode featured Bumble co-founder Whitney Wolfe Herd. Founded in 2014, the dating app is now worth more than $610 million.
Markle, who launched her own business – As Ever – in April, chatted to Herd about the "real pressures of launching a business, the highs, the hurdles, and everything in between".
The royal revealed that she was consumed with choosing the proper packaging in the build-up to her brand's launch. The 43-year-old also admitted to having sleepless nights "overthinking".
"Would you do it differently?" Markle asked Herd about her business journey.
Herd said she "totally" would.
"I think the one thing I can offer to the world is actually, 'Hey, don't take this route to the top of Everest.' It's not worth it. The view is not worth it because the one thing you can never get back is time.
"The amount of time, Meg, that I wasted on being stressed, miserable, overwhelmed, paranoid about what shoe was going to drop, I actually think I would have been more successful had I not been like that."
A few weeks before launching her podcast and business, Markle also released her Netflix cooking series, 'With Love, Meghan'.
It's been a busy few months for her.
Markle and Herd discussed juggling motherhood with the demands of their businesses. The duchess has two children with her husband, Prince Harry: Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
Herd and her husband, Michael, have two sons, Bobby and Henry.
Markle talked about what it is like working from home with her children.
"Lili still naps, she gets picked up early and she naps. She only has a half day in preschool. If she wakes up and wants to find me, she knows where to find me, even if my door is closed to the office.
"She'll be sitting there on my lap during one of these meetings with a grid of all the executives.
"I wouldn’t have it any other way. I don't want to miss those moments. I don't want to miss pickup if I don’t have to. I don't want to miss drop-off," she said.
Markle also shared that both she and Herd had "postpartum preeclampsia" after their pregnancies.
"It’s so rare and so scary. And you're still trying to juggle all of these things, and the world doesn't know what's happening quietly. And in the quiet, you're still trying to show up for people, mostly for your children, but those things are huge medical scares," Markle said.
According to Mayo Clinic, "postpartum preeclampsia is a rare condition that occurs when you have high blood pressure and excess protein in your urine soon after childbirth. Preeclampsia is a similar condition that develops during pregnancy and typically resolves with the birth of the baby."
