Meghan Markle makes cheeky appearance in latte company's ad
Updated | By Tamlyn Canham
The Duchess of Sussex stars as an intern in a new post shared by a popular latte company.
Meghan Markle is the star of a new Instagram video shared by Clevr Blends.
The company's co-founder and CEO, Hannah Mendoza, gives a tour of 'Clevr HQ' in the video that features staff, including "nerdy digital intern" Meghan, working in the background.
"Damn, you’re keeping us BUSY right now! Had to call in some reinforcements. So grateful for the immense love and support this year—thanks for helping us keep the latte-loving dream alive, and thriving!" the post is captioned.
Meghan can be seen in one scene packing lattes in boxes for delivery. Another scene shows her busy at a desk.
"Our very smart, only *slightly* nerdy digital team making sure the website doesn't crash again like it did last year," Hannah says as the Duchess of Sussex types away in the background.

MORE FROM EAST COAST RADIO:
Meghan's appearance in the video is not as random as some might think. In 2020, she invested in the female-led wellness startup.
At the time, the company was run by just four people. Clevr Blends makes instant superfood lattes.
"I'm proud to invest in Hannah’s commitment to sourcing ethical ingredients and creating a product that I personally love and has a holistic approach to wellness. I believe in her, and I believe in her company," Meghan told Fortune in a statement at the time.
Oprah is a fan of the brand and listed the Clevr SuperLatte Starter Kit as one of her favourite things in 2021.

In other Meghan Markle news, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex released their annual Christmas card.
Their 2023 e-card was sent out via email. While some were hoping that Meghan and Harry would include a picture of their children - Archie and Lilibet, only the royal couple featured in the card.
The picture they used was taken at the closing ceremony of the 2023 Invictus Games.
"We wish you a very happy holiday season. Thanks for all the support in 2023!" it reads. It also included a link to the Archewell Foundation's impact report.
The report includes a video that shows some of the work they did throughout the year.

Harry and Meghan have released their Christmas card and I love that their children aren't in because the haters will lose their minds and I'm hear to witness it all. The conspiracy theories, rentless hate, and the 'why are they hiding them from us?' whines.
