'Magic Mike' star breaks the internet with abs of steel
Updated | By Entertainment Reporter
Channing Tatum says he won't be gaining weight for movie roles because it's too hard to shed the kilos afterwards.

Actor Channing Tatum has the internet drooling after sharing pictures of his jaw-dropping body transformation.
The 44-year-old showed off his abs of steel in before and after pictures he shared on Instagram. He wasn't just flexing his abs – not that we are complaining.
The 'Magic Mike' star opened up about how hard it was to get back on track after losing and gaining weight for movie roles in 'Josephine' and 'Roofman'.
"We back up! lol. 1st photo is today 205. 2nd photo 235 for a movie called Josephine. Then went to 3rd photo which is 172 for a movie Roofman," he wrote.
Losing weight is harder in your 40s than in your 20s, but Tatum is thankful he has his good genes.
"I’m so grateful for my genetics. Grateful for my chef/nutritionist/witch. Grateful for my trainer. I couldn’t make these big swings in my weight without you guys."
He also revealed that he does not want to put his body through extreme weight gain again.
"I won’t be doing any more fat roles haha. It’s too hard on the body and too hard to take off now. But damn, when I look at these pics, it’s just wild what the human body and will can do."
Tatum's followers applauded his body transformation.
"Are you available for weddings? As the groom?"
However, some were not impressed with his post, mainly using the words "fat roles".
"As a plus size person, I get that losing weight is hard on the body, but can we not be so inconsiderate of others to say something so bluntly offensive as 'I won’t be doing anymore fat roles’? Your size in the b&w picture is a dream body to some, and unachievable for many so to classify that as a fat role body and say it in what comes across as such a shameful way is very dehumanising," one woman said.
