Gone but not forgotten - Chadwick Boseman's friends and family paid tribute to him on his birthday.
Lupita Nyong'o joined Chadwick Boseman's fans in wishing him a happy birthday on Wednesday.
The late 'Black Panther' star, who died in 2020 after a private battle with colon cancer, would have turned 47 this week.
"Marking the birthday of a heroic friend. I am blessed that his time on this earth coincided with mine," Lupita wrote on Instagram.
She included a picture of Chadwick and their 'Black Panther' co-stars in the post.
Michael B. Jordan, who also features in the picture, left star emojis in the comment section.

Chawick's fans also flooded his Instagram page with "happy birthday" messages. The Chadwick Boseman Foundation tagged the actor in a special birthday post shared on Wednesday.
"Our motivation. Our purpose. His guiding light made this world a better place from the minute he set foot on it. Happy born day, #ChadwickBoseman," the post read.
Many people said they would "forever be heartbroken over the loss of this magical human".
"When I found out you passed in 2020, I didn't know that my own cancer was growing inside of me at the time. After getting diagnosed at 18 and keeping it a secret for a year, I can't imagine the courage you had to keep fighting in silence for YEARS while living your life in the public eye," one fan wrote.
The fan added: "I saw you visiting children's cancer hospitals and I wonder if you had wanted to tell them you were fighting it, too. But you never made it about yourself. I hope one day I can be just a fraction of how kind, loving, and thoughtful you were."
Despite the heartbreaking loss, scores of fans said they were grateful he was able to share his talent with the world.
"I’m appreciative of the time we had with you Chad, I would be lying if I was selfish to have had more time…thank you for your representation of us, your words, your charisma, your art and you did it all, like a King. Eternal life is yours, Wakanda Forever…"
