Lizzo shoots her shot - again! Chris Evans come get your girl
"This is literally like her fourth time shooting her shot. Now it's borderline harassment," a social media user says about Lizzo's "obsession" with Chris Evans.
Lizzo has made no secret of the fact that she has a crush on 'Captain America' star Chris Evans the size of a meteoroid.
The pair have been sharing playful banter online ever since the 'Truth Hurts' singer revealed Chris is her celebrity crush.
It started in 2019 when Lizzo announced that she wanted to marry the actor.
Fast forward to April 2021, when Lizzo slid into Chris' Instagram direct messages (DMs) in April. She revealed that she sent the actor a drunk text. Lizzo shared a screenshot of her message on TikTok.
She returned to the platform to share that Chris not only started following her, but he also replied to her DM.
"No shame in a drunk DM. God knows I've done worse on this app lol," Chris wrote.
Things escalated further in July when Lizzo joked that she was pregnant with his baby.
"This is something that I've been really trying to keep personal and private between me and the father of my child, but since we're airing out all the rumors today, I've been sucking in. We're gonna have a little America," she said on TikTok while the Captain America theme song played in the background.

Fast-forward to the present day, December 2021, and Lizzo is at it again. The singer recently performed at Art Basel in Miami.
During her performance, she sang Erykah Badu's iconic song, 'Tyrone'. Lizzo switched up the lyrics to include the names of some of her celebrity crushes, including, you guessed it, Chris Evans.
Instead of just sticking to calling Tyrone, as per the original lyrics, Lizzo sang: "Maybe I should call Chris Evans. So Captain America could put another bun up in my oven."

While many social media users find Lizzo's Chris Evans "obsession" hilarious, others think the joke has run its course.
