Kolisi family gears up for Paris move: 'Officially our last month in SA'
Updated | By Tamlyn Canham
"I’m so grateful for the opportunity and experience, but... I love SA with my whole heart" - Rachel Kolisi.
Siya Kolisi and his wife Rachel Kolisi have just a few weeks left in South Africa before they move to Paris, France.
The couple were based in Durban where Siya played rugby for the Cell C Sharks. Siya will be joining French club Racing 92 later this year.
"Rachel and the kids have sacrificed so much throughout my career and I am immeasurably grateful for this. The move to Racing 92 will enable me to spend more time with my family, which is something I have longed for, and this prospect played a significant part in my decision-making," the Springboks captain said in January.

Rachel has been preparing the family for the big move. She has already started looking for schools for their children - Nicholas and Keziah.
Siya's younger siblings - Liyema and Liphelo - are also expected to join them in Paris.
Rachel says the move is a bittersweet moment for the family.
"Officially our last month in SA before our move to Paris, France. I’m so grateful for the opportunity and experience, but in the same breath devastated because I love SA with my whole heart. And I love living here," she wrote on Instagram this week.
Rachel says these last few weeks preparing for the move have been a bit chaotic
"Juggling A LOT at the moment, and the furthest thing from being ready for a move overseas. Also just found out we’re running into more joy in the visa department. I had a great conversation with someone this week and she told me this: 'identify which balls can drop and bounce back up and which ones would break if they dropped and focus on those,'" she said.

MORE FROM EAST COAST RADIO
One month before Siya revealed his Racing 92 club news, Rachel and the kids officially moved to Durban.
While Siya moved to the city in 2021 after signing his contract with the Cell C Sharks, his family remained in Cape Town.
"Today I moved 3 kids, 2 dogs and 6379 bags to Durban. My 2nd move in 2 months. That’s aside from exams, prize givings, dentist visits, Q time with each kid, work, working out, therapy and more," Rachel wrote in December 2022.
It's not easy being a WAG, as Rachel will soon have to pack up the family once again for a new beginning in France.
