Kim Kardashian's company, Kimsaprincess Inc., has been hit with a $100-million lawsuit over her endorsement of a light-up phone case called LuMee.

The light helps users take selfies with perfect lighting, especially at night.

The reality star is credited with helping make the selfie lights a major trend, and partnered with the company to endorse the product.

"Now my 'perfect selfie secret' is out--the LuMee® Case! I have been utilizing my LuMee case for over a year and I love it so much that I partnered with the company on a business level," Kim said in January 2016

Her endorsement resulted in the company doubling its sales from 2015 in one month.

But the self-proclaimed selfie queen could be taking less than perfect selfies if a company named Snaplight has its way.

The company has filed a patent infringement lawsuit for $100,000,000 million in damages, and has asked the court to prevent Kim from further endorsing the LuMee phone case.

Snaplight claims LuMee LLC stole the idea from a man named Hooshmand Harooni, who filed a patent for an "integrated lighting accessory and case for a mobile phone device" in 2013.

The company says the man then licensed the invention to them.

Snaplight says it has had difficulties competing in the selfie case market thanks to Kim promoting the LuMee case to her 165-million (and counting) social media followers.

LuMee has come to Kim's defence.

"The lawsuit has no merit and Kim has done nothing wrong. LuMee is an innovator of illuminated cell phone cases and was the first to market. Between its patents, copyrights and trademarks, LuMee has developed substantial intellectual property rights surrounding its product line," a rep told the Hollywood Reporter in a statement.

In a strange twist, it has also come to light that LuMee filed a lawsuit against Snaplight in November, claiming it was infringing on its patent.
