Is Kim Kardashian still studying law? We've got an update

The reality star has failed the "baby bar" exam three times, but her dream of becoming a lawyer is still on track and she just took her next big test.

Kim Kardashian had a very good reason for missing her friend Lauren Sánchez's history-making ride on Blue Origin's first all-female spaceflight.

She was busy studying for law school.

Her mother, Kris Jenner, shared the update during an interview on Monday at the aerospace company's launch site in West Texas.

The 69-year-old matriarch and her daughter, Khloe Kardashian, were interviewed ahead of the New Shepard rocket and capsule blast-off.

The Jenner-Kardashian family is close friends with Sanchez and her fiancé, Amazon and Blue Origin founder Jeff Bezos

“Kim keeps writing us because she was supposed to be here with us, and she’s studying for law school. She had a big test that she had to take," Jenner said.

“Again, something I’m very proud of. But she keeps calling going, ‘I have such FOMO, tell me every minute of it.’ So, it’s very inspirational and we’re proud of the girls every one of them.”

In 2019, Kim surprised her fans by announcing that she was going to law school to become a lawyer.

While some scoffed at her plans, 'The Kardashians' reality star put in the hours to make her dream a reality.

She failed the "baby bar" (California First-Year Law Students’ Examination) three times before finally passing in 2021.

"OMFGGGG I PASSED THE BABY BAR EXAM!!!! Looking in the mirror, I am really proud of the woman looking back today in the reflection," she wrote on Instagram.

"For anyone who doesn’t know my law school journey, know this wasn’t easy or handed to me. I failed this exam 3 times in 2 years, but I got back up each time and studied harder and tried again until I did it!"

Kim has to take two bar exams before getting her California licence. The big test her mother talked about could be her second bar exam.

The first "baby bar" exam allegedly has a harder pass rate, which means she practically has this law thing in the bag!

"I was told by top lawyers that this was a close to impossible journey and harder than the traditional law school route but it was my only option and it feels so so sooooo good to be here and on my way to achieving my goals," Kim said about her law journey.

The mom of four is following in her late father's footsteps. Robert Kardashian Sr was one of the lawyers who represented  OJ Simpson in his 1995 murder trial.

Kim revealed in 2023 that she would consider becoming a full-time lawyer once she qualifies.

"I always joke with my mom, who's my manager, I say Kim K. is retiring, and I'm just going to be an attorney," she said at the TIME100 Summit in New York.

The 44-year-old hopes her law degree will help her better understand the criminal justice system.

In recent years, she has openly fought for criminal justice reform and famously helped Alice Marie Johnson gain freedom after 21 years in prison.
