Kim Kardashian says she wants her kids to be around their dad as much as possible

The reality TV star says despite her divorce from Kanye West, she still wants her children and their father to have a tight relationship.
Divorce can affect the relationship that children have with their parents.
In most cases, the children will have to stay with one parent and see the other one occasionally.
This is the case for Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's children; North (9), Saint (6), Chicago (4), and Psalm (3).
However, despite their parents' break-up, Kim is determined to ensure the children still enjoy a great relationship with their father.
“No matter what we’re going through, I always want my kids to be around their dad as much as possible and just have their mornings with dad and get dropped off at school,” she said in a recent interview on 'The Today Show'.
On Sunday, Kim, who is currently in a relationship with 'Saturday Night Live' star Pete Davidson, thanked her children's daddy for being the best father to their kids.
"Thank you for being the best dad to our babies and loving them to way you do!" she wrote on IG stories.

Introducing her children to her current boyfriend
Kim told 'The Today Show' that she had to wait six months before introducing her children to Pete.
“I think it’s different for everyone; different things work for different people, and you just have to do what feels right and try to be as respectful and cautious as possible.
“I definitely wanted to wait six months, and that was the marker," she said during the interview.
She says she even had to consult a therapist.
"I asked Kourtney – who has been through it all – and consulted with a few therapists and friends who have been through it,” she said.
