Khanyi Mbau claps back at albino remarks
Updated | By Tamlyn Canham
Twitter users called Khanyi an "albino" and the socialite-turned-actress had the perfect reply.
Khanyi Mbau couldn't care less what you think about her lightening her skin.
In fact, the 'Red Room' actress thinks her white complexion is "goals". At least that is what she told a Twitter user who told her she was starting to look like an albino.
The tweep made the comment after Khanyi posted this picture of herself:

The post received more than 200 comments. While some of Khanyi's fans praised her beauty, some were less than impressed with her skin complexion.
"You are looking like a ghost in a Nigerian movie with that face," one tweep wrote.
Another added: "You slowly becoming an Albino."

Khanyi has openly admitted to using skin lightening products on her body. She told eNCA in 2019 that she spends R10,000 every month to maintain her skin colour.
She uses the money for glutathione IV treatments and skin-bleaching products.
“90% of the colour of my skin is cosmetic now and this was a personal choice but not because it’s something that’s needed for the [entertainment] industry. It’s something that I preferred. I realised that once my skin is fairer they have to use less make-up. Unlike sitting in the chair before I shoot a movie for long, I could just put on powder and go. So for me, that was a maintenance issue I wanted to do,” the 34-year-old told eNCA.
